The One Thing that Remains, Even When Nothing Is Left

My heart aches for so many whose worlds are shattering into a thousand pieces today. Those who are walking through a dense fog that refuses to lift. Those for whom the next breath seems all but impossible.  Because I understand. I’ve been

Walk In the Goodness of God, Even When Bad Things Happen

Many things happen in our day-to-day lives. As we perceive them, some are good, some are bad, some seem to be neutral. As I profess faith, I claim to trust the Lord, to trust His goodness for my life in

When You Wonder If God Tires of Listening: Promise of Christmas

“If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” Matthew 7:11 My weary body screamed for rest, but here in front of me sat my son, recently back from

But I am only a… (When Faith Is Present)

“[God] needs no one, but when faith is present he works through anyone.” —A.W. Tozer One thing I love about reading the Bible is the truth I receive about who I am and what I can accomplish. Because often I

Faithfulness from Generation to Generation [Short Bursts of Encouragement]

Thanks for stopping!

Hello, I'm Julie, an imperfect wife and mother of four. Life in this broken world is not always easy. Yet, joy can be found in each day through the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I find it's easy for our day's BLESSINGS to get lost in its HAPPENINGS. But God's "mercies never end" (Lamentations 3:22) and His "grace is sufficient" (2 Corinthians 12:9).

May the posts and pages on this site offer you a measure of peace and encouragement.
