Receive Your Beautiful Inheritance – a Free Gift

“Indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance” (Psalm 16:6b). Not long ago, I passed a lady walking on the side of the road. Slim and toned, she seemed so put together.  I didn’t know her, but my mind began to taunt

He Did It All For Us! (celebrating a new life)

Today we celebrate a new life!  The Son of God gave up His heavenly throne and came to earth as an infant for us.  The Messiah lived and ministered for us.  The Lamb of God suffered and died, taking on the world’s

“there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke 2:7 NASB For me, Christmas is filled with family, laughter and love. No matter how many are coming, we are always welcome. That may not be the case for you.

The One Promise On Which You Can Always Anchor Your Joy

Why You Should Care about Seeing the Big Picture

Sometimes I get caught up in the little details and miss the big picture. I’m guessing I’m not alone.  I obsess over editing out blemishes in a photo instead of appreciating the image captured. I spend hours making sure a

Everyday Praise

We were created for praise! Cultivate the practice of glorifying God daily. Let your heart find rest in the shelter of God's goodness.

Thanks for stopping!

Hello, I'm Julie, an imperfect wife and mother of four. Life in this broken world is not always easy. Yet, joy can be found in each day through the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I find it's easy for our day's BLESSINGS to get lost in its HAPPENINGS. But God's "mercies never end" (Lamentations 3:22) and His "grace is sufficient" (2 Corinthians 12:9).

May the posts and pages on this site offer you a measure of peace and encouragement.
