An Endless Well of Comfort #31DaysofPraise

“Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort.”
2 Corinthians 1:3

Praise God of all mercies

Long before I know I need comfort, God’s there. Long after I think I’m past needing it, God’s there.

The Lord bears the title “Father of mercies and the God of all comfort.” His is an endless well of comfort, never-ending and always more than sufficient.

Did you catch the one little word of such importance in the praise verse for today? “All”

All Comfort

God doesn’t only comfort us once in a while. He doesn’t just comfort us when it’s convenient or only in the minor aches of life.

And He doesn’t stockpile His hope, strength, and peace only for when the really bad hits.

No. God is the author of comfort; He is the source of any and all comfort.

God is the author of comfort; He is the source of any and all comfort. #31DaysofPraise Click To Tweet

Without the Lord, there is no real and lasting comfort. Trust Him with your pain, the big and the little.

Praise Him, today, for such mercy!

Reflections: In what situation do you need God’s comfort? Call out to Him; He’ll answer!
