O Holy Night – the Greatest Story: Merry Christmas!

The Christmas Story by Virginia Blanck Moore

Such common things of everyday Like lowing cattle, fragrant hay Stars flung across a velvet sky, And shepherds watching night go by.

Such common things, and yet they hold The greatest story ever told— The story of a Saviour’s birth And hope for man and peace on earth.

Merry Christmas - birth of hope; light born into dark

Merry Christmas

Christmas, this day we celebrate the birth of the Savior. It was indeed a Holy night. Birthing hope for all mankind. Light born into the dark. [←Tweet this.]

Us the lowly, part of the Holy, the greatest story ever lived.

May you embrace the hope of Christ this Merry Christmas and throughout the New Year.

From my house to yours, we wish you the most blessed Christmas. Love, laugh, worship, and rejoice.

“Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: Today a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord, was born for you in the city of David.” Luke 2:10-11

Reflections: How will you celebrate this Holy day?

Welcome, Ifeoma. So glad to have you here. Christmas didn’t go exactly as planned, but it was wonderful just the same. Lots of family time is a favorite, and Christmas Eve worship is a beautiful reminder of why we celebrate. Now it’s quieting a bit, and I welcome that. I hope you had a meaningful and joy-filled Christmas as well.

I hope to dialogue with you more in 2015. Many blessings for the beginning of your new year.
