Why Being Weak Isn’t So Bad #31DaysofPraise

“If anyone speaks, he should do it
as one speaking the very words of
God. If anyone serves, he should
do it with the strength God
provides, so that in all things God
may be praised through Jesus
Christ. To him be the glory and the
power for ever and ever. Amen.”
1 Peter 4:11

Praise-God-in-all-things

I don’t find it easy to admit my weakness in an area. I take pride in being able to stand on my own two feet.

Yet God asks us to recognize our weakness, to admit our need for His strength, so that in all we do, whether it be serving or speaking, He may be praised.

To Him be the glory, not to you or me.

I have a ways to go in this. Maybe you do too. Thank God He is patient.

Admitting our weakness, our need for the Lord in all things, is the beginning of experiencing the greatest Strength that ever was and will ever be.

Reflections: In what areas of your life do you hesitate to lean on the Lord’s strength; in what areas do you hesitate admitting your weakness?
